| you hate me,I love you. Kat was born to Brian and Jane Leighton two people who should have never been married. Their relationship was highly volatile, a violence that at times stretched to Kat herself. At the age of ten when her father went too far and killed her mother, she was sent to live in an orphanage. She stayed there for six months and then spent the rest of her life in and out of foster homes until she was eighteen. Now she lives in a tiny apartment in NYC that she shares with two other people. Her current roommates are Joey, a pot head who really doesn't do much of anything aside from deliver pizzas. And Candice, an aspiring actress and singer trying to get on Broadway. Kat attends NYU and works at the library in downtown New York. She's independant and willfull. She gets lost in books and in her own imagination easily. She wears too much eye make up and her style has been called everything from classic, to goth, to tom boy, to eccentric. Her hair changes colors frequently because she has a tendency to abuse hair dye. While not always, Kat can be very dark at times, a product of her past. She has extreme to moderate OCD depending on her mental state at any given moment. She's a cutter because sometimes she feels the need to release what's inside of her. She also has a mild form of eidetic memory that has never been fully recognized or cultivated. | |
